The Simpson family’s legacy in the material handling industry began with Stan Simpson, who designed and manufactured what was, at the time, the world’s largest rough terrain forklift—a machine so capable it was sold to military operations all over the world. That spirit of engineering excellence and hard work was passed down to his son, Kerry Simpson, and now continues with the third generation: Jacob Simpson. Jacob grew up around these machines, learning the trade from the ground up. He joined the family business as an apprentice and quickly proved that he shared his grandfather’s and father’s natural aptitude for the industry. Over the years, Jacob’s dedication has been instrumental in growing our available inventory and expanding the types of clients we serve. Today, as Jacob steps into the role of President and officially takes the helm of Simpson Forklift, he carries forward a legacy built on more than just mechanical expertise. He possesses a remarkable ability to understand exactly what our buyers need.
